Venntro Media Group is now a member of the Online Dating Association.
The UK company, which owns properties like White Label Dating, Global Personals & Smooch, is Europe’s largest privately-owned online dating company, running more than 25,000 sites with over 50m members worldwide.
In June, co-founder and former COO Steve Pammenter took over from Ross Williams as CEO, as Williams moved into a Chairman position.
Speaking about joining up with the ODA, which launched back in 2013, Pammenter said: “We’re thrilled to become a member of the Online Dating Association. We’re fully committed to upholding industry standards and have always put the safety of our customers first.

Alongside founding members like eHarmony & Match.com, the body also counts companies like Lovestruck, Christian Connection, Oasis, Guardian Soulmates, TrueView, Dating Factory, as well as recent additions like Rendeevoo & Her Smile, as members.
Last week, the ODA announced the appointment of Andrew McClelland as its new Chief Executive, who takes over the position after the departure of George Kidd in August.
McClelland has 14 years experience in digital commerce, particularly with IMRG, the UK’s industry body for e-Retail.
Since 2013, he has led special interest projects for the e-Retail industry in areas like e-crime, legal, e-payments, interactive marketing, search and multi-channel.

Venntro is the first new member to join the ODA’s list of industry members since McClelland joined the organisation.
ODA Chairman Duncan Cunningham said: “Venntro operate a significant number of sites in the UK and we are delighted that they now join other companies committed to the standards the ODA have set.
